Trying to promote - drive traffic to my Etsy store https://www.etsy.com/shop/DavisForms

On January 1, 2019, I opened up a store on Etsy.com https://www.etsy.com/shop/DavisForms due to having been told by multiple medical professionals that I should do for others what I've done for my parents in terms of medication lists and other forms/charts.  I figured that with my schedule it would be easiest to open up a digital shop for generic blanks of some of the stuff I've done.

I know that people can and do have things like their own medication lists and such or have an app that has the listings.  At the same time I do know that not everyone has the mentality to maintain them or has a way to print them them from an app so having sheets that can be used to either fill in as needed or to be used as a template for their own versions is a good thing especially if they purchase a copy of what I have on my site to either fill in as needed or to use as a template.

Please feel free to visit my store https://www.etsy.com/shop/DavisForms and if you need one of the items I am selling or if you know someone who could use it please purchase something.

Thank you  -  Sean Davis

seans forms

I wish I knew something about marketing especially online marketing using social media to promote the site I put together in order to help earn some extra cash or to actually turn into a full time business.

I put together the site due to having been told by a few doctors that I should go into business putting together what I call a Home Health Organizer and Planner after seeing what I did for my parents in regards to putting together one for my parents where the doctors thought it was well organized and the doctors stating that they wish more patients had what I put together.

Granted there are things like the I.C.E. Credit Card and other things that first responders, medical clinics and medical specialists would need to know up front but you if you have a computer, you would have to feel comfortable using the software and if you do not have a computer you have to go t someone you trust that has a computer that would be willing to help you put the information into the item.

My Home Health Organizer and Planner does have a sheet that allows you to fill in the information such as who each of your doctors are, their office information and medications listed by doctor with the dosing instructions. The sheet also allows you to give other pertinent information such as allergies and known medical conditions along with the hospital information if you are routinely seen at a specific hospital.

My planner also has a monthly calendar with the month on one side of the sheet and a doctors appointment planner on the reverse side for the specific month on the front side of the sheet.

For those who require multiple medications there is a chart to keep track of your prescriptions so that you know when it was filled and how many refills you have left on the prescriptions.

Depending on what else besides your monthly doctors appointments and the information that you would routinely give to a clinic, specialist or when you are having a procedure done, you can have other things in it like a chart to keep track of you blood pressure, your blood sugar, your pulse & oxygen from an oximeter, and any chart that I can potentially make that could be added to the planner.https://sites.google.com/site/seansforms/

I invite anyone who reads this blog post to view my site and don't be afraid to contact me if you would like one for yourself and please share the link to the site with people or organizations that you feel could benefit from such a product that I am offering on my website.

Thank you for your time,

stem cell research reversal

I am happy that President Obama reversed President Bush's decision to ban stem cell research. I believe that every life is important but I also feel that there is no gaurantee that the embryos would mature enough to be a viable life.

I feel that regardless of religious beliefs, the good of the many in most cases out weighs the good of the one but in the case of medicine the needs of the one help push forward the research that helps us deal with the needs of the many and we need to explore options that we may not always agree with. we have shown in the past that under certain conditions we will forego ethics so we can save a live during war time which means we cannot pick and choose our battles with medicine as long as we don't intend to hurt anyone.

drug research

When dealing with prescription drugs, we are at the mercy of the drug manufacturers when it comes to price. This is due to the cost of the actual research and the promotional material geared towards the doctors that would be prescribing the medication.

Drug companies, should be more open to sharing information with each other in ways that would not compromise their intellectual property but in a way that would significantly cut down the duplication of research on compounds, that can drive up the costs of the end product, even if it means some sort of library that would document the research done, procedures including a list of materials not protected by law, and both the positive and negative outcomes of the research.

When it comes to promoting to doctors, the drug companies should not be lining the pockets of doctors to get preferential treatment for the medication. it is one thing to advertise the new medication it goes against the oath that the doctors take if they are paid to push a specific drug over something that has a proven track record.

The drug companies do make samples that they give to doctors for which are given to patients and should be given to the patient to try before having them go pay for a prescription for the medication so that way it is know if there will be a reaction to the drug before the person pays for medication they may not be able to use.

bio-tech

Given the recent convention for the Bio-Tech field and the bio-lab being built on the campus of Boston Medical Center, it is easy for many to assume that all we are trying to accomplish with the Bio-Tech field is weapons grade bacteria and virus's or animal cruelty supposedly in the name of science.

By no means am I trying to say there hasn't been animal cruelty or that we are not looking for weapons grade material but they are not the only things to have come out of the Bio-Tech field. If every protester were to look at the advancements that we have made in treating medical and physical conditions both human an animals in recent years they will see they themselves have had medical procedures done to them that potentially were tested on people or animals for which they are protesting.

The Bio-Tech field is more disperse than the protesters would have us believe but if you want to boil it down to weapons grade materials, we are not the only nation to have those materials and some of them can last for years in the environment, you might want to think about it this way:

If we are capable of using bio-warfare tactics; they are capable of using bio-warfare.

John Edwards

John Edwards, I think he is one of the best if not the best candidate for the Democratic Party's Nomination for president. He definitely had the credentials to be the president and has shown that he is willing to stand up for what he believes in.

Unfortunately, unless there are enough people willing to go against politics as usual, he will not get the nomination. This is due to his honest and caring demeanor, for which the political mainstream is not accustomed too.

John Edwards, has shown that he is a person who genuinely kind and an intent listener regardless of subject matter or opinion he holds. He has also shown great strength in light of his wife Elizabeth's on going struggle with cancer by being by her side while keeping the campaign going. He should be commended on that and her for not letting the cancer get the best of her.

medicine and religion

when it comes to medicine and medical research I feel that it is an integral part of our society to the degree that healing people even shows up in religious text. There are many who mean well but end up choosing one side of the issue of medical research over the other due to either religious grounds or due to not believing that medicine should work that way.

I feel that even though my own religious beliefs state that killing is not allowed, the belief to heal supersedes the belief against killing due to the fact that if we do not learn to heal the sick we are essentially killing the very people we need to heal.

In the United States there is a moratorium on using federal money to do embryonic stem cell research even though it is legal. Even though the wording does not specifically state that it is due to religious beliefs, it was made clear in statements that religious beliefs were at the heart of the issue. I think that it is a view that is far too rigid to be acceptable in mainstream religion and mainstream medicine.

If everyone held that view we would still be practicing medicine like it was practiced at the time of the plague. At one time it was blasphemous, open up the human body to perform any type of medical procedure. Until the Vietnam war American medicine prohibited different types of medical treatments from being tried. During that war techniques that had, had a moratorium on them became common place in the MASH units and are not common place in society.

Now we are in a similar situation as right before the Vietnam war with a moratorium on specific things that could potentially help the sick, more specifically the embryonic stem cell research.

In order to heal the sick and to protect life, we must learn to find out why we get sick and die so we can learn how to heal and to protect. to tell someone that is deathly ill that it is against your beliefs to do the research to keep them from dying is basically telling them you are killing them which also goes against beliefs.
